Harcourt’s Council recognizes that our Community of Faith, like all other parts of society, is under great stress with the arrival of COVID-19. We are thinking about all who will miss weekly worship, small group gatherings, and connections through committees/teams that carry out our many ministries. We are proactively planning ways to offer connection through email, phone calls and other social media contacts. Checking in with each other can ‘make someone’s day’.
While the church building is closed, our staff are working as they are able on-site and/or remotely. They can be reached by email or phone (519-824-4177). Messages are checked often.
For the first time, Council met using Zoom video conferencing on March 18. We were amazed at how well it worked with eleven of us in our circle. Other Harcourt groups might like to try this free service. It is just one of several communication tools available. If you would like assistance to discuss various options, please contact Shaina Ensing through the church office. Watch for other information and ways to connect in the days ahead.
Blessings as you take care of yourself, those close to you, and our Harcourt community.
